About RCG

Welcome to Rich Creamery Goodness.

This is a website about creating, sharing and teaching. Photography today is such an jumble of gadgets and technology and software and trends and personalities. And I love it all. But most of all this website is dedicated to making imagery, sharing thoughts, communicating and geeking out.

So welcome to Rich Creamery Goodness.

About Steve

Steven A. Thompson.

I’ve been making pictures, on and off, for a very long time. As an engineer, the workings, mechanics and precision of the camera have fascinated me. As an imaging fanatic, the miracle of turning light into images amazes me. And, as an artist, the ability to apply all this crazy technology and make something emotional is probably one of the most satisfying feelings I could ever have. I like to teach, and I like to share. Welcome.
